When you try to understand telepathy it all starts when one person transfers their thoughts and emotions to another person. The definition commonly known is that telepathy is a term for the feelings over a distance.

It is widely thought that telepathy is communication through another paralleled thought plane. It is known that most animals use some form of telepathy in communicating within their herds or with other herds of the same species. This can be done over many leagues of area and is even thought that many sea mammals communicate just this way over many depths of sea.

Many believe that ancient man inherently had this ability to communicate with each other as a necessity of survival and that some may not have lost this ability over time. Today you need to have some telepathy training to help you ‘relearn’ these powers.

Most of our normal behaviors are learned behaviors. Some are more instinctual in nature and telepathy is considered one of these behaviors. It is thought that we can be taught to be telepathic again just as we are taught to read or to write. If we can teach those with learning disabilities to over come them and lean these basic needs, why can we not teach those who are not telepaths naturally to attain this trait?

So knowing this, we have to believe that most of humanity has simply lost their ability to connect with the telepathy that the mind has an available. It should be as easy as the way to respond to music and your other five senses.

Others feel that telepathy is just a form of our sixth sense. That what we are experiencing is not a true telepathic trait but a more common feeling that manifests itself through this sense. In the animal kingdom, it is more commonly known as instinct.

You have probably already utilized your telepathic power and haven’t even realized it. This is mostly because we consider these to be gut feelings or instincts. Maybe you just felt as though someone was looking over your shoulder, or you’re worried about a family member all of the sudden. These things happen all the time and the end result is that you’re usually right. It’s amazing how we accept this in our world, but the mention of it being connected to telepathy and most people turn their head.

What you’ll find is that our society has simply lost touch with the ability to utilize our telepathic power. How this began will probably never be answered, but it’s believed that it was constantly down played by religions all over the world. Most predominantly were Christianity and Islam. They believe that this is the power of Satan and not a tool the human mind already has inside.

Due to these older religions and the shame it brought to telepathy, only few people gained knowledge of it. It was so hard for most people to put faith in their own abilities as human beings.

Some may argue that it is the other way around, that because of organized religion, that we have put telepathy onto holy leaders as opposed to an inherent trait. This is because some religious leaders have led, their flocks to believe that telepathy is a tool of the devil. This is a great way for the masses to ignore and eventually lose their telepathic ability.

Now that we are in a modernized and technological age, most of the scholars and scientist would just laugh about telepathy because they believed that this is not true sense since accessing telepathy does not need the use of the five senses. But the real philosophy of telepathy will never be important anymore to somebody who already chose to disregard telepathy as the sixth sense.

What is questionable with the science is that, scientists accept and adhere to the fact that people and animals have emotions and instinct since they themselves feel these feelings as well making them convinced that these things exist. But these are in fact more mysterious and hard to define than telepathy.

Maybe it’s just jealousy on their part. After all, most individuals hate it when something can’t be explained, yet someone else can do it. When a phenomenon like telepathy comes along, it’s much easier to tell us it’s an instinctive response as opposed to an extraordinary power of the mind.

It is hard to pinpoint when or why humans lost their ability to communicate telepathically, but it is important to realize that in some forms we feel it every day.
