Cosmic ordering is the belief that, by sending positive energies out into the Universe, we can turn wishes into realities. It is an ancient concept adjusted to modern times. People practicing it believe that, by placing their requests before the universe, they are releasing energies into it which will, in turn, attract similar energies back to them. These energies have the power to make whatever they have requested come to pass.

The principal behind it is very simple: if we send out negative energies, we will attract negative energies. When we attract negative energies, negative things happen. If we send out positive energies, we will attract positive energies, and positive things will happen. Through Cosmic Ordering, people seek to take this principal one step further, and actively use it to make things that they wish for come true.

The first step is to get into a positive frame of mind. Unless you are in the correct state of mind, you will send the wrong energies out into the universe. Once you have done that, you are ready to proceed with the next step. This usually involves writing out your wish in a letter to the Cosmos. Be sure to include the time frame in which you expect your request to be answered. After you have made your wish, let it go. It is now up to the universe to make it happen.

The first few times that you do this, you should keep your requests small. As you become more familiar with how it works, and see your requests answered, you will gain the confidence to ask for larger things.

While waiting for your request to be answered, it is very important that you maintain a positive attitude. If you let doubts creep in, or start thinking negatively, the energies that you create may interfere with the fulfillment of your wish.

A lot of people find it helpful to note their wishes, along with the day and time that they were made, in a notebook or diary. This helps them to stay focused, and to maintain an upbeat attitude. When a wish is fulfilled they cross it off the list, indicating how and in what way it was fulfilled. When they looking at the list, and see all of the wishes that have already become reality, they realize that it’s just a matter of time before the rest of their wishes come true, too. Visualization is another technique that some people recommend to help build up the positive energies needed to turn wishes into realities. By mentally picturing the wish as if it were already real, any hesitations or blockages caused by stubborn doubts, or deeply buried negativity, can routed out and eliminated.

Cosmic Ordering may be a modern way of using the energy circulating around us in order to turn our wishes into realities, but it has roots in other, much older traditions. From China comes the belief in “chi”, or energy found in all living things. But, even more ancient than the belief in “chi”, is the belief in the power of prayer. So who is to say that when you call, the cosmos is not going to answer?
